Days Of My Life MYSTERY SONG

Days Of My Life MYSTERY SONG

Postby play dead » Fri Oct 07, 2005 5:26 am

Okay, a few years ago I heard this song somewhere and I've been trying to find information on it. I can't find ANYTHING. I remember some of the lyrics. I hope I remember them well. The song is from the 1980s, of course, and it was fast-paced with male vocals. It's somewhat repetitive, but that's a good thing in this case. The song opens with:

"All my life I've been searching for somebody"

"I've been dreaming of somebody, and now it's coming true."

(chorus)
"All the Days Of My Life
All the days of my life
All the days (all the days)
All the days of my life"

[?]

I also posted this somewhere else on the site, but I figured I'd have a better chance in 2 places...

No... that is definetly not him. The song I'm referring to reminds me of Two Tribes by Frankie Gowes To Hollywood... but faster... and without electronics. The song has a loud and repetitive drum machine (i think) and there's a lot of electric guitar and keyboard useage.

Here's the song "Days Of My Life"... I don't even know if that is the official name. But that's the chorus.

This file is sort of low on quality. Fortunately, for me, my younger brother recorded this song onto his computer with his microphone. The beginning is amusing because it gives away the source of the song. You would have to hear it to understand. But ANY information on this song (official name, artist, year) would be greatly appreciated. AND I'm hoping someone can send me an MP3 of this song.

Wow, those crowds at Playboy's "Strip Search" really get rowdy, eh!

The group is Mammoth and the song is called "All the Days." From their s/t 1988 debut on Jive Records.

Does anyone know the Mammoth lead singer's name? I'm trying to find the lyrics for their songs and it would be easier with the leader's name.

NOTORIOUSLY BIG
They were heavy, not only musically but also physically, that's why they were called MAMMOTH. The band which roamed the Earth in 1986-1989 featured two biggies in its ranks, former SAMSON singer Nicky Moore and bassist John McCoy, mostly known for the foundation he provided for GILLAN. The trio, rounded off with guitarist Kenny Cox released their self-titled album in 1988 and broke up...
