Cee Farrow & Belouis Some...

Postby danadotcom » Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:17 pm

Hey, does anyone one know what's happened to Cee Farrow ("Should I Love You?") or Belouis Some? Last thing I have by Some is his so-so '93 CD. His first album needs to re-issued! Anyone familiar with a website dedicated to him?

Thanks for the info...I kinda had the idea that was the way the story ended, but I never heard it officially. Kind of like Klaus Nomi: RIP. Love Klaus. And Sylvester. And Jobriath...But they're really off the 80's path. I have Cee Farrow's LP with "Should I Love You" and the 12" of that song. I do wish I had it burned to disc. The LP is great, definitely a slice of an era. Instrumentally it really captures the moment--not to mention that he wasn't a bad sight. I also have the CD-Single for "Imagination", which does 100% nothing for me. I remember coming across it in a used bin in '94 or so and could not wait to hear it. It was only worth its nostalgic value. Anyway, more later...

So what about Belouis Some...Any news? "Animal Magic" is probably one of the songs I like most from him. I really wish his 1st LP would see the light of day on CD. I saw it on eBay once, and even though the seller swore it was not a copy, I was sure it was a CD-R. Anyway, the 1st was much better than the 2nd.

Stand Down
Imagination...

Those are some of my favorite songs period.

Sorry I dont really know what happened to him either.
This one British site said he went on to be a producer for a time.

I agree with Frayo.
I have the "Imagination" CD too & I think it's great!
