I've seen the site before. But never knew it had downloadable songs. And these were really really obscure out-of-print songs that I'd never heard of. Hope there's another way of finding these songs.

Passing obscure music around "illegally" is the only way this music is going to continue to be heard. The more time that elapses, the more the less obvious stuff is going to disappear completely. Sad but true.

Keeping obscure and especially out of print music under wraps simply because one is afraid of litigation seems extremely ridiculous to me, not to mention completely contrary to the point of creating music and art in the first place.

I wish I would have heard of your site earlier, so I could have enjoyed it.

i'll say it agin " F U C K " !!! RIAA !!!. i'm pretty sure that there is a patch or a dll. file out there that can get you guys back on this Torchomatic.com site. i know because i felt the same way when i found out that winmx.com was down. e-donkey and someothers are down as well, but they can't stop us. i'll be on the lookout for patches and will try to keep you guys update, but you must help out as well. if any fellow new-waver out there knows of a patch, please let us, your buddies know.[8D][8D]

Surprisingly I was still able to access his FTP server a few weeks ago
though I wouldn't be surprised if he closed it down.

As for the website, it is now a generic search page.
