Marilyn Manson, IMO, is one more reason music today is what it is, the state of it, that enough people love this enought to make it big. To each their own I guess, I will not begrudge anyone their musical taste, but for me, it is pure sh*t.

Uuuurrrrgh. I am also stupified at Manson's appeal - perhaps it's because I'm older, but he just seems to be a bit of a pathetic copy of Alice Cooper (who I DO like.) It's funny that all the kids regard him so seriously, I think he's just some horse-faced

He is seriously creeped out. At first, I thought he was disgusting, and I worried and wondered what kids today see in him, and why they take him so seriously. Also, his music is horrible sonically--it has little musicianship, and is just painful to hear.

Look, Marilyn is ok. I'm 39 years old and would rather listen to him than any of the rap, emo or pop crap that is churned out today. Manson is filling the void for the kids that are too young for Alice Cooper, Ozzy etc...

Back in my early 20s, when Manson first made the scene (early 90s), I was all about it. But I've grown wiser throughout the years. I personally cannot stand him now (and haven't since, oh, about 1997). But I have to admit his cover of 'Down In The Park
