The songs that devastate me include: "Oldest Story in the World" by the Plimsouls, "Between Something and Nothing" by the Ocean Blue, "I Love to Hate You" by Erasure, "Valerie Loves Me" by Material Issue, "Fade into You" by Mazzy Star, and "Aching to Be"

Hey Otters, you were in Brooklyn? When the first plane hit I was in Coney Island. I remember around 11:30 the sky turned grey and the paper started coming down. For those who don't know, Brooklyn is just down the river from Manhattan. So on sept. 11th, ev

Thanks, myirwin! I agree that there are a lot of devastating songs in the singer-songwriter category, and a lot in folk and sixties songs,too. Kingston Trio's "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" always gives me goosebumps, and so do the songs "Blowing in
