I've mentioned them before, saying I'd posted all the interviews from the bonus disks of each book on the Hub. It's a great listen if you're traveling for awhile or something. They're both key works for any big new wave fan to have. You can't really sit through and "read" it per se, but it's great to flip through short stretches at a time. It really gives you a feel for the vibrancy of the period.

This looks like it could be a combination of the 2 volumes. And it seems to be in print!

Doh, right, I didn't catch on at first that it's 70-82, the years inclusive of both volumes. Different cover too of course versus just the Black and Silver ones respectively of the older books. I don't see if it has the interview CDs - this is a crucial piece IMHO and would not buy it otherwise.

I thumbed through it at a local Barnes & Noble about one month ago although I can't recall which volume. They had a few copies, each with the CD.... so this book shouldn't be hard to find.

I believe that the new edition has a different interview CD. I'm not totally sure if it's a combo of the first two, but the books are a pretty good info source.
