Very cool! I'm sharing a couple of similarly themed comps on the Hub right now. First one is "Transmission: French Cold Wave 81-89" - really interesting tracks like "Ami Amant" by Opera de Nuit and "Demain Berlin" by Geurre Froide. Another is called "Synthetique - French Electronic Pop" of more recent stuff.

I can't understand why everytime I see Martin Dupont on a comp they put the song I met the Beast. It's such a weak song in comparison to much of their other work...

In my opinion nearly every song on the transmission comp is different to the original vinyl. They sounded worse and if I remember right by some are missing a few seconds.

I asked for the hub invitation but didn't get the dates till today... I could share some nice french and belgium stuff...

Well, I WAS going to post another of their songs for comparison purposes, but I'm growing weary of all the sarcasm on the board...I think I'll go post with my friends on the raw foodist site.[}:)][:D]

I wouldn't do that, eight6. At this very minute they're having a knock down drag out fight about which is better with vidalia onions: cherry tomatoes or iceberg lettuce. It's getting ugly, man. Shit's hitting the fan (but the shit don't stink, cuz it's HEALTHY shit).

Haven't really heard too much of that lp...if I ever decide to sell a kidney, I may buy a copy. Why are Martin Dupont lp's so damned expensive? And why do I have 3 copies of Hot Paradox?
