Seeing Siouxsie in NYC? BE WARNED!!

Saw Siouxsie last nite at BB Kings in NYC. The show was great; and she was a goddess as usual. Be warned though, there were a lot of problems with the venue. We waited until 9:30 or so for her to hit the stage. Supposedly, they were filming a special for VH-1 classic. There were some glitches with the sound. Her mic gave out for one of the songs. The biggest problem was the staff. They were really rude and the security guards were terrible. Several fights broke out and security got really rough. I heard at the end of the show when they were ushering everyone out, another fight broke out and pepper spray was used on the crowd. A lot of choking and crying going on. There was also a heavy police presence outside the show which didn't help matters. I heard from several people that they were all chanting "BAN BB KINGS" Luckily, I was towards the back and got out of there before all of this happened. I think next time they should play another venue.
