Thing to do on a monday night

Postby hutter » Mon Apr 17, 2006 4:06 pm

...it's monday night. You're bored. Nothing good on TV. The missus is going through that special time of the month....so what do you do? Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I start thinking about shoving random objects up my sphincter. Here's a few objects lying around the house that caught my eye...help me pick out what should go up the hutt butt next.

Hutter hot dog!

(Does anyone remember that Heidi hot dog urban legend? Oh if you have to explain 'em...[:D])

If I can be so allowed another suggestion--what about rolling up the cover of that Orleans record and packing that one in?[:D] It's not like you're gonna listen to it, might as well find some use for it. That way you can be sodomized by 5 (or was it 6? I'm trying to block it out) naked guys at once. I don't know you well enough to know if this is your personal best, but it's quite a story to have 5 (6?) guys up there at once. All naked, nonetheless. Excuse me I have to go throw up at my own humor now...

Radar was kinda cute. Yeah, may as well throw Orleans up the man-butt.

It's so nice to see the board not devolving into a puerile torrent of verbal diarrhea. What-the-fuck-ever.

I'm all for light, goofball discussions. But am I the only one who's just a wee bit sick of this ceaseless, pointless, scatalogical, blathering crap? (pun intended)

I used to have the extraordinary ability of merely ignoring topics that just didn't interest me, or I thought were exceedingly sophomoric, or just plain pointless. Then, not so long ago, I realized that I had been slowly but surely posting less and less.
Now, either I'm just a complete killjoy (which, I will concede may surely be the case) - or this place has just nosedived into the most trivial and moronic friggin' babblethon dominated by a small handful of people obviously more concerend about their posting score (by the way, I don't know what anyone else has heard, but you don't win a prize or garner any more "cool points" because you posted more CRAP every ten seconds than anyone else).

In response to your query - How about a steel-toed boot?

Whatever. My two cents. Discuss whatever the hell you want. I look forward to hearing tomorrow in great poetic detail about your yeast infection and the witty quips that follow from the select, inner-circle "cool" kids.

Little wonder half of the original members are gone.

Well, as a matter of fact, you did win a prize for your own record breaking posting, but you turned it down.

Larger silent audience...so what? They don't contribute to the board, they live vicariously through it. For them, it's like watching TV. I, for one, am not going to censor my comments or make nicey nice so that each and every person viewing, or, for that matter contributes to this board gets a warm fuzzy feeling. What would be the point? This isn't a contest to see who can be the most sickly sweet, or who can ignore the most idiotic of posts.

They view the board for it's total content, not just for the mindless nattrering that has been prevalent of late. I'm sure many of them also scoop the wealth of music posted here, without so much as a thank you. The vibrant back and forth is what makes this board...if you need a comparison, step over to Radionigel.com, a board with the same topics, but devoid of any personality, interest, or posted music.

The way I look at it, the only line that has been crossed here has been done so by Andy...anything else is well within the realm of real world interaction. If it is too pulse racing or repulsive for some of the more sensitive viewers (or participants), Radionigel is a few keystrokes away.

Not sure what you are saying here Hutter, my viewpoint is simple and consistent. Too much shit on the board, too many sensitive souls as well. Not a popular viewpoint to be sure, but I couldn't give a shit about popularity. I have no concern for the casual viewer: if you're not participating, you get what you get.

Y'know, one of the reasons I created this thread was to get some of these "hiding members" to come out of the shadows. You don't care for my posts? Hey, that's fine. I wouldn't feel the need to post so much if this place wasn't a graveyard so much of the time (and I began posting with "Thank You's" in the mp3 section, just so you know, eight6). If all this bothers folks like Nero and ExRat so much, they could either go away or choose to lead by example. Instead, they throw out pot shots and cheap insults. Maybe the real reason you don't post is because you have nothing of interest to say on your on volition, you just appear to be vocal when it's in response to something or someone you don't care for.

I've never kept count of my posts, and when I recently lost a few hundred of them from the change of servers, someone had to point it out to me. I've even asked the mods if it was possible to bring my post tally down by a couple of thousand, if at all possible.

I don't post for any hidden members entertainment, I don't post to purposefully piss people off, I post to shoot the shit with some folks on here like Marv, Motors, Mechi, ToeJam, Jimbo, UniversalRadio, Philly, Plage, Marie3, Wolvie, Synth, Mtv, Mane, Blir, etc etc etc, blah blah blah, who I find to be open and funny folks who just happen to like a lot of the same music I do. If there's others who don't care for me or my posts, you can do the classy thing (like eight6) and call me on it with thought out responses, or get stupid like ExRat (with his "You're A Homo" Estrada pics and crude threats) or idiotic nit-picking and "Tribute to Hutter" threads like Nero, or cry to the mods.

Until MikeP tells me to stop being myself, I have nothing to apologize for. It took a hell of a lot of emails from members here for me to decide to stick around. The only negative email's were from Andy, and as everyone but Nero realizes, psychopath's like Andy don't count worth shit (and he's still here, mods. Wake up).

Yeah, I'm thumping my chest like a bull gorilla. Feel free to take me down a peg or two. Just make damn sure your responses have some intelligence behind them, otherwise you're just pissing against the wind.

As far as respect for the silent vets...get over yourselves. This isn't the Greek Council. It's a message board. You get what you put in.
