So this is the 4AD band that split into Renegade Soundwave and the Wolfgang Press. Intriguing... doesn't sound like either band.

Their sole album was reissued on CD recently. Can't say it's synthpop though.

I've got the Passion Factory LP. How does their other stuff compare?

I like the first 3 LPs...
This was nice pop-music.

In my opinion, after that they changed into too much into cheasy chart stuff. They were best, when theyare young and not pushed by money or something else. Just like it is with soooo many really good bands.
After a little sucess they changed their style and began to record boring popular music.

I'd say their fourth LP "Until the end of time" is good, too, though - as Plastikmann stated - a bit cheezy.

They had a minor (club) hit here back in '82 or '83 called "Face to Face - Heart to Heart." Based on what I've heard, it was the only good song they did. Somebody posted the video here some time back, which I'd never seen before. Looked like it had -- at most -- a 5 dollar budget.
