I was going through my vast collection recently. I found a compilation cd that had some nice tunes. I don't know anything about these bands. Anyone? Beuller?

I don't know anything about these bands but I do have another Bamboo Industry song called "Hypnotized" that I really like. I got it from someone here on the outpost.

Two of Us were a German or Austrian Synthpop-Duo. You might be familiar with their biggest selling single : Two of Us (yes, same as the group itself). Generation Swing and My inner voices (which is from 1987, I think) were follow-ups but not as successful chartswise.
MIV received a lot of airplay here in Germany in the late 80s.
They had an LP out in 1985 with versions of both TOU and GS but I can't say what happened after MIV.

Two of Us had strong production input from Hubert Kemmler of Hubert Kah. Bamboo Industry was apparently one of the guys out of Camouflage, they released an album called "Tortured For Pleasure" (I think) back in 1990. If you like these tracks, also take a look for Swimming With Sharks and Humpe + Humpe, another interesting Hubert Kah side project.

Thanks for the info. If anyone is interested I've got a few more tracks from each of these bands that I could post.

Speaking of Hubert Kah, does anyone have an MP3 of "Cathy"?

Some more info on Two Of Us:
As far as I can remember, their biggest hit (not only in Germany) was "Blue Night Shadow".

For more info on Two Of Us, I've found an interesting website about Sandra, Michael Cretu, Hubert Kah and all the projects, they were involved including even Bonnie Bianco or Sally Oldfield!

http://www.enigma-fanclub.com/sandranet ... eneral.htm

What I hadn't realised before: Two Of Us are the same guys like KIZ, who had an NDW hit named "Die Sennerin vom Königssee".

If anyone has other songs of the first Two Of Us album"Twice as nice", I'd be very interested. In exchange I could share vinyl rips from their second album "Inside out".
Also very nice would be "Reisefieber" from KIZ, which I haven't heard anymore since 1983...

Of course, BNS, how could I forget that...upps, I think, I was thinking of it when I said the title was TOU.
Have the 1985 album. What do want to hear?
I also can supply "Reisefieber" but would have to look for it...could take a while.

Here's more from Two of Us and Bamboo Industry. I had forgotten about State of the Art. I really liked their songs on this compilation so I added them in. They reminded me a little of Vitamin Z.

Thanks, spacecircus, for these songs that I've never heard before. I especially like Shout and Run and Cathy.
