"Future Brain" by Den Harrow.
Okay, before you dismiss this Italo Disco track, really listen to the lyrics. Really. They are stranger than a Village People song. Well, almost.
Italian male model Den Harrow - who took his pseudonym from "dinero" - is singing to a computer in some kind of dystopian future that has taken control of mating and reproduction or something. There's a chorus of backup singers going "whoa-ah whoa-ah" in the background. D.H. actually flat out calls the computer stupid and soulless.
And this is a 12" dance single.
If only there had been a music video! It would have put "Wild Boys" to shame.
I'm sort of picturing one of those Star Trek scenarios where Captain Kirk outwits a supercomputer at the end of the episode with a speech that causes it to explode.
In fact, what I wouldn't give to hear William Shatner recite "Future Brain."
"Future. Brain. You... Make. Me.... Wonder!"

"Drum Machines Have No Soul" - isn't that the point?
