He ruined Anne Rice books for me. After seeing him as Lestat, I can't get him and that awful blonde wig out of my mind when I re-read the vampire chronicles.

Now, Brat Pitt as a vampire--entirely different story. Meow! [:X]

And The Queen Of The Damned was far better in casting. I liked that movie and the cast was perfect. Oh, even worse than his 5'2" Lastat was Antonio Banderas as Armand! That made me hurl.

Most of his movies don't interest me at all. I hate things like Mission Impossible & spies with big explosion movies. I've never seen Top Gun, Rain Man, Cocktail, etc, etc. either.

I saw War of the Worlds over the winter & I liked it, although it took me a while to let go of "That's Tom Cruise playing this role." I think the special effects and the story helped me forget it was him though.

I don't think having him in a movie would keep me away, but it doesn't make me want to see it either.

By the way BMG - I LOVE your new sig!!!!

"Top Gun" ruined the Air Force for me. Hell, it ruined it for my brother -- and he was IN the Air Force.

I don't know how Tom Crui$e has any fans left. All I know is, he must have. His movies still cross the $100 million barrier. He still makes 8 figures a film. Well, I shouldn't say "make," seeing as it all goes to the estate of L. Ron Hubbard, but you catch my drift.

That was the Navy. The Air Force boys should have been laughing their asses off! [;)]

This is what Tommy boy had for din-din the other day...

Sicko. Stop spending money on his movies, for Pete's sake. Your giving your money to a F-N cannibal.

Oh, that's right. It was "Iron Eagle" that ruined the Air Force for me.

"Top Gun" ruined both.

Someone should adjust Tom Cruise's meds-for-the-brain. It's not working right.

BTW, he is not eating the placenta finally.

Not gonna happen. It's against his "religion".

Uhhh... too bad. [:(]

I'm worried.. I think that very soon he'll tell us that he is like John Edwards and can talk with the dead. [:p]

I was never too big of a fan of his, but neither did I ever hate him. I don't think much of his acting abilities, EXCEPT Collateral. That was good work coming from him. But Eyes Wide Shut, the worst movie EVER, kind of sealed the bad acting tag.
