Good for you walkers and bikers!
Like motors, I don't live far from work, so I only fill up once a month. I can handle that. One the weekend, I consolidate my errands, bike as much as I can, or just don't run errands if I don't have to. I feel lucky that I don't have to drive far distances. My '74 Duster can be a Hungry Hippo with the gas, which makes me feel guilty, but I compensate by driving an absolute minimum.
Did anyone see that little report on NBC news the other night, in which Brian Williams showed gas prices that the rest of the world is paying ? Highest: $6.80ish/ gallon in the Netherlands and Germany. $ 6.13/gal in England. Cheapest: $ 1.34ish/ gal in China, .34 in IRAN, and ......12 cents/gal in Venezuela !! Ha ha. Makes you wonder.
