Well Moby claims he doesn't. He's a freaking multi-millionare but refuses to own a car for environmentalist reasons. But thinks nothing of jet setting off to Milan for a record release party or whatever. Perhaps this tree hugger doesn't know what planes run on?

Moby talks s...l...o...w... As if he had a speech impediment whereupon he has to think of every word he's gonna say before he actually utters it. Normally, this is a good thing because it shows one thinks before they say something, but in Moby's case it just makes him look and sound kind of retarded.

I've been taking the bus when I can (mass trans in my city blows) or walking if possible. I if it's too far to walk, I try to consolidate errands, travelling to places in the same vacinity at the same time. It cost me $19 to fill half the tank in my Subaru Impreza. [V]

If I end up paying the WTF prices, I`m going to start walking or Biking.
Damn, now I have to fix my bike.Two years ago I crashed my bike going down a hill trying to avoid a Horse Pie. I missed the Horse crap but payed a price in the process. Oh Well S**t Happens. [:D]

I try to bike to work every other day (20 miles roundtrip) and to errands around town. However, that's not always practical.
I pride myself on walking my kids to school while the neighbors drive.

Like motors, I don't live far from work, so I only fill up once a month. I can handle that. One the weekend, I consolidate my errands, bike as much as I can, or just don't run errands if I don't have to. I feel lucky that I don't have to drive far distances. My '74 Duster can be a Hungry Hippo with the gas, which makes me feel guilty, but I compensate by driving an absolute minimum.

Did anyone see that little report on NBC news the other night, in which Brian Williams showed gas prices that the rest of the world is paying ? Highest: $6.80ish/ gallon in the Netherlands and Germany. $ 6.13/gal in England. Cheapest: $ 1.34ish/ gal in China, .34 in IRAN, and ......12 cents/gal in Venezuela !! Ha ha. Makes you wonder.

Hi everyone,
Surely gas prices in the USA are on a constant rise, but compared to gas prices in Europe...
just a little Example:
Price per liter (Unleaded 95): 1,35 €, that makes about 5 € per gallon, which is about 6,50 $ at the current exchange rate. My way to work is about 60 km one way, which leads to a monthly gas bill of about 300-350 $!!
Plus: Tax: 60 $/month, Ensurance: 130 $/month, which leads to a monthly "car-bill" of about 500 $ for me (without depreciation!!)...
And: 70 percent of the price of each gallon of gas go to the government!! I think I'll have to move:-(
