Good happy <a href="http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/14446459.htm" target="blank">National Hairball Awareness Day</a>!

Now, go clean it up.

I just hope that they can lock up all these Felinophiles and throw away the key. It's pretty disgusting if I'm understanding the term correctly. And what better advocacy than to have it on a site called philly.com. You go Phil!

Whoops! I forgot to mention my favorite part from the article:

"In May alone, the nation will celebrate Nutty Fudge Day, Tap Dance Day, and Sea Monkey Day, no doubt created by institutions dedicated to the sale of fudge, tap shoes, and small aquatic beasts."

ROFL! I was thinking the same thing about Philly.[:D] But perhaps it is a day, Blir, that those of us that are not Felinophiles can celebrate the awareness that we don't have to deal with hairballs. Yay for us! Cheers and happy hairball awareness day to all non-cat owners!!

When is Sea Monkey day? I want to celebrate Sea Monkey day! I'm gonna go google that now...

Check out what my google search found:

http://www.itsallgood.itgo.com/custom2.html

According to them Sea Monkey day is Feb 15.

I didn't realize my birthday was world juggling day! Awesome! This will really help me with my "365 excuses to party" calendar idea!

Shame on them! I didn't see "act like a pirate with Tourettes day" either. (Oct 4)

When is steak and blowjob day anyway? Seems it should be a hell of a lot more often than once a year. And I'm a girl saying that!

Does Hallmark know about this? St Patty's Day cards don't sell very well they could make a mint![:D]

And of course Steakhouses should advertise it as well... Can you imagine the TV commercials? (woman on her knees under the table at the Outback[:D])

They do now. I just went to http://hallmark.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/ha ... &p_lva=938
and e-mailed them:

Due to my recent difficulty in finding an appropriate greeting card for a relatively new holiday, I wanted to take a moment to make you aware of a potentially huge money-making opportunity for your company. The holiday I'm referring to takes place on March 14th and is called "Steak and Blowjob Day". You can find further details about this widely celebrated holiday at the following website:

http://www.steakandbjday.com/ .

It is my hope that your marketing department will take this under advisement so that Steak and Blowjob Day 2007 will be even more enjoyable and stress-free.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Mike Ockspitz

I'll let you know if I get a reply. [:D][:D]

Motors you fucking rock!![8D]

I think I'm gonna start working on S and BJ day carols to sing after swallowing but before the steaks are done.

No offence Motors, but your surnname sounds like the noise a cat makes when it coughs up a trichobezoar. Sorry, man, just trying to get the thread back on topic. Your last name is lovely. Feel the love.[:o)]

Thanks [:)]

I had to come up with a name or the Hallmark Nazis wouldn't accept my e-mail. I really do hope they send me a message that starts "Dear Mike Ockspitz". That would be even cooler than the fact that the PIN # my new credit card company issued me (on 4/20, no less)actually spells out the word "WEED". I tell ya, all is right in the universe right about now. [8D][:D]
