Favorite Newly Discovered Artists Because of NWO?

There were a lot of songs and bands that I did not just rediscover but also have heard for the first time on this web page. The Song Of The Week played an important role in discovering the 80's music and New Wave. Some songs from "The Song Of The Week" that I really like.

After living through the first 'New Wave' ---I thought I knew everything....this site has opened my eyes to TONS of new 'old' stuff....I think my favorite and most shocking was [b] LIQUID LIQUID [/b] doing 'Caverns' which is essentially 'White Lines".....the 'obscure new wave song section' has been interesting, and eye-opening (although, some of the songs themeselves havent been what I consider great) its cool to hear new stuff....

I always consider the Rescue's "Tell me Now" as one of those songs playing when I discovered the site, the new bands, etc etc.

Mike P's experiences with Colorado new wave radio were ones I never had...I was strictly Trouser Press, Creem and what albums looked cool in the stores. I'm glad I've gotten to hear new wave from a very different perspective than my own.

Fay Ray, Trees, Dial M...most of the bands in the 'Rarities' section of this site were new to me, and I THOUGHT I knew it all...

I really like YAMO... Hutter posted a song when I was in a kind of low and really cheered me up.
And then... She Wants Revenge.. I don't know who mentioned them first but I should thank him/her for it.
