KROQ rarities (sought and shared)

Here's probably the rarest song in my collection, a dvd rip from the end credits of the 1986 Deborah Foreman horror movie "April Fool's Day":

"Too Bad You're Crazy," by Jerry Whitman and Linda Harman

And an analog rip from a KROQ mix tape, recorded circa 1986 or so. The song is called "Peacemaker," (I think) but ignore "Doctor & The Strangeloves," which I invented just so I'd have something to put in the Artist tag -- I've never been able to find out who actually recorded it, and have a sneaking suspicion it's just another demo tape they had lying around the station (e.g. possibly unreleased, and they may have only played it once). It's basically a dance remix of dozens of "Dr. Strangelove" quotes.

And yeah, I'm yet another annoying "Top 106.7 of 19xx" completist junkie looking to top off his playlists. Here's the last three might-actually-exist-somewhere "real" songs I'm looking for:

Blue Train: All I Need Is You (#61 of 1991)
Candyland: Fountain O' Youth (#102 of 1991)
Paul the 55-Year Old Intern: Paul on 45 (#107 of 1993)

And I've pretty much given up on these, but in lieu of tangible uploads I'd dearly love to have confirmation that they don't actually exist, so I can put this little obsession to rest:

Boy John Frost: Mother's Day (#107 of 1988)
Boy Waiting: Girl Waiting (#105 of 1985)
John Frost: Mr. TV's Turbo Round (#107 of 1991)
KROQ Theme (#107 of 1980)
Lewisidal Tendencies: Silent Night (#107 of 1990)

[Of course, if anyone actually has them to share, I'll be delighted, but John Frost was apparently a KROQ DJ, nobody seems to know what the hell a 1980 "KROQ Theme" might have been referring to (since the Oingo Boingo aircheck was late-80s), Boy Waiting/"Girl Waiting" has been confirmed as an unreleased demo tape with no mp3 rip anywhere to be found, and the words "Lewisidal Tendencies" exist on the internet only in reference to the KROQ playlists themselves and don't seem to have a counterpart in nature.]

Additional trivia, this was on a HITS post modern sampler cd released by HITS magazine in the 90's, Always the Bridesmaid with a drawing by Robyn Hitchcock on the cover. Also, Paul the 55 year old intern was Mark Davis , who still performs lounge versions of KROQ tunes as Richard Cheese.

I honestly don't know if I've ever heard these before, which is a bit strange -- even though I was on the east coast by then, WHFS had pretty much undergone complete assimilation of the corporate "Modern Rock (tm)" playlist that was starting to be packaged by Infinity, and the 90's-00's playlists of the two stations are pretty much identical. The year-end countdowns start at 1992 @ http://www.rocklists.com/whfs.html, so I can't say for sure (right around when the NirvanaPearlJamStoneTemplePilots juggernaut pretty much took over music in general) -- but this might have been some of the last music played by KROQ that didn't immediately get picked up by everyone else in the game.

I can't believe I'm getting nostalgic over this, but these may have been two of the last songs played by KROQ that nobody else ever got to hear. Sigh...

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley listening to KROQ and I turned 13 in the Fall of 1991. So I do remember both songs and Blue Train's song actually played for a few months when it was new. The Candyland song was more of an obscure song and I only recall hearing it maybe 5 times when it came out. Also, both songs were new in the Fall of 1991 (Candyland was played in September when school gets back in and I think Blue Train came out in mid to late October. I know songs that are new in the fall usually are forgotten by the next year's countdown unless they're huge hits.

I'm basically just missing the songs that shad0w was mentioning above. I think they're all either obscure songs that the producers or dj's themselves made or were just never released officially. I'm missing Dogboat (or Dog Boat) by Robert Roll, the two Boy John Frost songs, Silent Nights by Lewisidal Tendencies and Girl Waiting by Boy Waiting (which I think was confirmed to be a dj's personal tape, not an actual song). I don't consider these to be actual "songs", but more intentionally humoruous jingles meant for the position of 106.7 on the lists.
