Lost Obscure 12" - Llloyd Allen Shared

Postby ApolloZero » Mon May 01, 2006 3:15 pm

I used to work at a record store in the 80's and would open things if they looked cool or interesting.. i found this 12" and i don't know if anyone else has ever heard it - It's here twice for 20 downloads.
EBN (from EBN OZN) plays Bass and Drums with Dan Hartman on Piano.
Sorta like getting a 1983 12" and bringing it home to hear it!

Never heard this, either. Thanks for posting. Who's the producer on this? Because the production is awful. No way it stood a chance with a mix that sounds like that.

Looks like a true one-off, huh?

Nothing more than just the 12" from Lloyd, but there's also a fun video to this song that you might be able to track down.

Man this sounds so much like Iggy Pop.But the guy singing this song has a worse voice than Iggy ever did.Not that Iggy has a fantastic voice, but this guy sounds too much like Iggy's double.I guess I am giving him more credit than he really deserves?

Cool, i just thought about that before i signed on, if there was a video for this.. what did he look like?

Yeah he probably had a single deal and if this did well, an lp would follow.

As for the producer, it was produced by Jay Aaron, recorded May 83 in NYC.
