I don't think I've ever seen any postings on this guy but I think he is awesome. Anyone else love his music?

I think Zoolook was a fantastic piece of the next wave of new wave.Laurie Anderson ,Adrian Belew one of the first sampling digital keyboards. Very cutting edge at the time. Equinox and Oxygen etc..were all electro symphonic in the same vein as Vangelis who I very much apreciate as well. Most of Jarres' newer releases arequite week in comparison to his earlier work.

Yeah, I'm a Jarrehead. I have several different versions of his various compilations. The original pressing of The Essential Jean Michel Jarre is like my desert island disc. I also liked his recent CD with vocals - Metamorphoses.

I have a bunch of his albums.
But I wouldn't classify him as 80's New Wave. He was more 70's space music.

I LOVE Jean Michel Jarre! I saw him perform in Greece and he was OUTSTANDING also back in the 80's in London there was a laser show in a planetarium that had his music move the lasers around and it was quite hypnotic.
