Hi. I'm new here. I was trolling the internet trying to find somehwhere ANYWHERE! that had "Eve of Destruction" by the Red Rockers. I found this place. My jaw has been on the floor ever since! I know a good friend of mine that's going to love hearing about this site. He has an encyclopedic memory of the 80's era. So I just want to say Hi and i'll be coming around here daily, I'm sure...

I was up all night and blearly eyed looking for the songs you both provided! I'm off to bed now seeing as how I have to be at work in about 6 or so hours and I haven't gotten any sleep!

Everyone here looks to be very friendly and informed as well. I love it! It's the sort of thing that makes one feel 18 again! I'm hoping that some Flying Nun records stuff from NZ is available here. Now THAT I long ago lost hope in finding.

Pressing my luck here and asking if anyone has the 12" version of "House" By the Psychedelic Furs as well as "President Am I" and "Vanessa Vascillating" by Slow Children and "Love is the Law" By the Suburbs in addition to the selections on my list?

Around 1989/1990 or so I had this record label compilation cassette tape that had the remix of The Psychedelic Furs' "house" and it was quite good. God only knows whatever happened to that casette (I've looked and looked [:(])

As it is now, I have a hard time finding people that even remember The Psychedelic Furs had a song called "house", much less know anything about a remix/extended version! If anyone has it and can share that, i'll be floored.

That's the one!!

When I downloaded it a few years back it was mislabeled as "The Cardigans". This time I hope to hang on to it. I've seen St. Etienne twice in my life and I've never heard them do this live (yet). Thanks for sharing this.
