I'm with you on the 4AD album covers. This Mortal Coil always had amazing covers, in particular. Dead Can Dance were my faves, as were Cocteau's. Mmmmmmm, dreamy.....

Berlin - Love Life I love the way the lady (is it Terri Nunn?) is looking into the light.

OMD - Crush A nifty "mid last century" oil on canvas of two young chuckleheads in a jalopy.

I don't think anyone's mentioned them but the Talk Talk album covers kick ASS.

I will be a horn-tooter and say that I'm mighty proud of the artwork on the cover of my record. You've gotta take that stuff seriously, lol.
