Okay, due to the fact that the beloved 'General Discussion' forum is getting overwhelmed with lots of off-topic posts, I've created a new forum called '**Not Necessarily New Wave**'. Please go here for all your more irreverant, off-topic posts.

No need to worry or feel guilty about already existing posts in this forum that don't adhere to the new format. I will relocate many of them as time permits.

I'm new to this board, so excuse me if this is answered somewhere else. What exactly should be on this board, if the other is for non-new wave talk? Should this board be simply topics about the 80s but not necessarily music?

Any posts about music, 80's memories (including TV, fashion, etc.) can be posted here. If you take a look at what I moved to the new '**Not Necessarily New Wave**' forum, you'll get a good idea what doesn't belong here.

As always, there is a gray area

Mike,

It would be better if "**Not Necessarily New Wave**" forum sorted to the bottom. I don't know if this is possible, maybe by changing the name to "{**Not Necessarily New Wave**}" or "~**Not Necessarily New Wave**~".
