Whatever Happened To Eddie?

Postby i_like_lectric_motors » Thu Sep 16, 2004 11:10 am

The talk in one of the other threads about Brandon Cruz from Courtship Of Eddie's Father being the current singer of Dead Kennedys brought back another (fuzzy) memory. Does anyone else remember when Butch Patrick had that band Eddie and the Munsters and they did the song "Whatever Happened To Eddie?" I only heard it once but I think they even used the guitar riff from the Munsters theme song. If anyone has an mp3 of this please let me know - different.damage at verizon.net
Thanks!

I have a copy of that '45 from early 80s. Butch Patrick actually lived in Austin, TX, not sure if that is still his home or not. That is a fun and rather obscure 80s track.

I am suprised that anyone remembered this obscure item from the early 80s! I have the 45' picture sleeve single of that song. An odd little ditty, amusing though!

Wasn't he the lead singer of a punk band (before Dead Kennedys) - I've got a vague memory that he was in some band on Mystic... anyone remember???

Sir Fiber,

I beleive that you are referring to Brandon Cruz being the lead vocalist of Dr.Know. Am I correct?
