His work was pure magic - no doubt. Too bad they never released a full metropolis soundtrack or his last movies from the nineties... would've loved to hear those tunes!

Its the same way that they never released the full Blade Runner soundtrack. I have spent a lot of cash..and spent a lot of nights on a lot of different hubs...and finally.....finally.....6 CDs and about 90 MP3s later- I finally have the full soundtrack-

So Im gonna share a piece of it with you- a rarity to say the VERY least. This is one of those...that you just cant find anywhere without paying a lot of money...yet in my opinion it was one of the best tracks from the movie.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Vangelis -

(drivers are dead...must fix before posting....crap...this sucks)

I didnt do it!

OK Im back!

NEXT!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think you need another shot or rareness...or a line from the ex-discard bin.

So how about we dive into the realm of PAINFULLY OBSCURE.
and where the world of rare-ness....can only be accessed through large amounts of cash. I spent $3000 on cough medicine and CDs last semester- Its high time I started showing off

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 5A730B950E

Thats right. Thats the Terminator Soundtrack:
Linn Van Hek - Intamacy

If thats not rare enough for ya, then you should start eating marbles for a living.
(whatever the hell that was supposed to mean.....is irrelevant...but I spent a lot of time thinking about it, so I left it in)

WE ARE NOW LEAVING THE UNVIERSE!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Toto? DO NOT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU!
From the slightly less obscure but unknown and overlooked sector in Fractilian Space.
We have

Toto - Main Title.

Intro to what?

You guessed it...the coolest movie ever.
The coolest story ever. I have so much crap from this movie it isnt funny.
Its on up there with Aliens in my book. And you dont screw with Aliens. They are ass-kickers..and they've been giving me nightmares since I was 8.

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... DC74DE3C34

yes, you probobly wont like this song...but I dig it.

SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY NEEDS ANOTHER!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the Legend Soundtrack. One of the most underrated movies ever. Every person I date unfortunately has been forced to endure this movie. I love it....some of the more interesting girls dig it....nobody loves the soundtrack.
Except Moi.

Bryan Ferry is showing you his emotion- you best listen up.

Bryan Ferry - Is Your Love Strong Enough

BLOW SOME DUST OF YOUR EMU EMULATOR...AND YOUR YAMAHA DX-7 FOR THIS ONE!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tina Turner.....a name often associated with evil...but here she shows off her awesome new wave side.

From the awesome soundtrack to BEYOND THUNDERDOME- comes my favorite song by hers...and its NOT her hit title track either.
This one is from the intro....not the ending.

Tina Turner - One of the Living.

Now I need to make another post...because I got some weird ideas.

Man, I love that movie! 'Legend' is beauty in itself. I even like both versions of the soundtrack. Tangerine Dream did that in 2 weeks or so - awesome. Goldsmith's work got released a few years ago, because of copyright problems with that Ferry-track.
I spent years and years to get hold of all extended versions ('slave to love', kiss and tell' - you name them). Was like christmas finishin on all that rare roxy/ferry stuff...

Here it is, at least twice the beauty:

Bryan Ferry - Is your love strong enough? (ext)

Thanks for that Dune track, haven't heard that in years. Remember the book and the strange feeling while reading it though.

Speaking of the movie Once Bitten, you wouldn't happen to have 'Hands Off' by Maria Vidal by chance?

It was the song heard during the high school dance scene [:)]

I could only manage to get a high quality rip from the movie. This guy I ran into from Canada- got a hold of Dr.John...the track was never released save for the VERY RARE vinyl release of Euro Vacation.

Other than that- there is basically no way to find it. People are rumored to have the vinyl soundtrack. John doesnt have the tracks himself...it'd be best to find either the soundtrack..or the guy who put the music together.

The only release was the Jet Set EP by John from that same era- it does not contain the song though.

Somebody help me think of a signature.
