No way. Hugging's for the cultural creative types. As an existentialist, I'm off quoting EBN-OZN:

"There are 178 parent languages on our planet with over 1000 dialects. It's amazing we communicate at all. Languages and dialects, with this one thing in common. A E I O U sometimes Y"

OK, since cultural creative is my 2nd type, I'll hug with one arm, but not enjoy it very much, because I'm all negative and depressing.

You scored as a Modernist (88%)

Modernism represents the thought that science and reason are all we need to carry on. Religion is unnecessary and any sort of spirituality halts progress. You believe everything has a rational explanation. 50% of Americans share your world-view.

Modernist 88%
Existentialist 88%
Materialist 69%
Cultural Creative 63%
Postmodernist 56%
Romanticist 44%
Idealist 25%
Fundamentalist 11%
Those were very strange questions. But thought-provoking, too.

P.S. Where are all the Romantics?
Certainly not here at the Cultural Creative Outpost. [:(]

They must be off hiding somewhere with the 50% of the population that allegedly shares my world-view. [B)]
My mistake. [:I] I had assumed that a Romanticist would have an emotional, expressive, highly individualistic world view, but on reading the description it really sounds more like Reagan Republicans than Byron or Goethe.

You scored as Romanticist.

Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.
