Yup,The Heart Throbs should have been bigger..."Toy" & "Here I Hide" are my faves!here's a lists of bands that i think should have been big in the US:

- Felt
- Orange Juice
- The Railway Children
- The Housemartins
- Close Lobsters
- The Wedding P

St Etienne

The thing about St.Etienne is they var so widely on each release.I think I have about 6 or 7 cd's but there are no 2 alike. You have "So Tough" that had "in a bad way" and then you have something like "finster".

Nearly all the British bands mentioned made it big over here, Ultravox and Kate Bush especially; she was still having hits here into the 90's.

Classix Noveau should of been big but 'Is It a Dream' remains their only top 40 hit.

I always wish that these three had stuck around longer and released more material. I think that they were solid groups with the potential to become much bigger. Maybe not U2 big, but at least Wang Chun
