The Dark....Darkworld?

The Dark....Darkworld?

Postby Max Murdoc » Thu Jun 08, 2006 12:55 am

I have an EP (produced by Ric Ocasek) 1981 I believe, that is entitled "Darkworld"......that's all it says on the cover and spline. One of the songs is called "What R Friends 4?"

Is the band "Darkworld" or "The Dark". I always assumed that they were called "Darkworld" but Googleizing it I think they were called "The Dark".

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Max

The Dark is the band. "Darkworld" is the album. Not that I have it.

I remember hearing a song or two on Boston radio back in '82-'83, but I don't remember what they were. (They had a couple of EPs.) I just remember that Ocasek was producing them the same time he was working with New Models -- and I liked New Models a lot better.
