My wife is always so nostalgic about the "good old days"
-- I always think, "what was so good about them?"
Maybe less polution and less crime -- maybe. But I believe during the industrial revolution, companies dumped waste right into the rivers. And the wonderful world of dentistry was not so wonderful -- "here, bite down on this stick."
Now when you want food, you go to the store and buy whatever you want, no hunting for food or trading -- life is easy now, more comfortable than ever. Air conditioning, music, movies on demand, remote control.
I think in the future a lot of diseases will be cured -- Alzheimers, Parkinsons, various Cancers, Aids, etc... It will take time, but that's what we have in the future -- unless Global Warming kills us all. [:D][;)]
