Father's Day 2006

Postby MARV » Mon Jun 12, 2006 5:19 am

My wife is asking me what I want or where I want to go on Father's Day. I have no idea. Any suggestions? What do you other dad's have planned?

Ask the missus to bring you to Scores (and don't forget to hit her up for tip money).

And that would mean............?

I'm married a long time. The days of buying that special gift are over. I will take the kids to home depot and point out what I want. I always buy my own gifts.

Now whats all this talk about steak and blowjob day?

That's exactly the request I've put in for! It's being discussed in committee as we speak, but if I'm reading the vibe correctly, the proposal will be wholeheartedly swallowed.

That's better than the proposal being wholeheartedly spat, is it not?

Oh my god you kill me Blir![:D] You're gonna get me in trouble here at work!

So, are these suggestions helping you, Marv? I'm taking the Phillyidol route with my dad. Home Depot gift card. That old fart is impossible to buy for. A carton of Benson and Hedges maybe? I love him to death, he's just not a gift guy.

My girls thought that Father's Day was yesterday and were crushed when I told them it wasn't. I caved in and we gave the mr. his present last night. He got a couple of books and a Borders gift card from the kids. He'll get the super-duper, royal BMG treatment from me later [}:)]

I think my dad wants a tool box.
I can't believe he wants that but he does. [:)]

We always buy gifts for our dad on Father's day and generally our grandparents come home and we all have lunch together.

Well, he's not a tool-time kind of guy .....
Maybe I'll play housewife. I'll actually clean and cook and make myself useful. The shock might kill him, but if he survives that, he'll be a happy camper. [:D]
