For some reason I had a flashback to the video for this song. Does anyone have this track handy? Thanks a bunch.

I might have the MV3 video of it, ie the video + a bunch of cool 80s kids dancing to it.

Great song...I have it on vinyl, but it hasn't made it to the mp3 line yet.

Here you go (if it is the song you were looking for):

<a href="http://www.cyberus.ca/~cs/Rough Trade - All touch.mp3">Rough Trade - All touch</a>
<a href="http://www.cyberus.ca/~cs/Rough Trade - Weapons.mp3">Rough Trade - Weapons</a> (same era)

A surprising amount of the Rough Trade discography is available on CD, at <a href="http://www.maplemusic.com/artists/rtr/disc.asp">MapleMusic</a> among other places.

Thanks Terim!!! After I posted this request I saw they have a greatest hits collection available. This was the only song I think I've heard by them and remembered liking it. It also looks like the singer rerecorded these songs. If her name is Carole Pope they are on iTunes. Thanks so much!!!!!

I believe Carole Pope is the singer of Rough Trade.

Pretty sure I recorded this off MuchMusicUSA sometime back before Cablevision ruined the channel. I'll have to check. Despite being a Hot 100 hit, the video was never added to rotation on MTV. They must've been put off by the intense power of Carole's manliness.

THAT song is awesome!

Mike sent it to me on CD-R WAY back in the day.... along with an obscure demo tape....

It was sweet....this was right about when I first joined.

Carole Pope is a bit of a scary woman. And not too friendly(compared to Martha Johnson). I met her at the CFNY concert a few years ago.

Some things don't get better with age...

I am told Rough Trade had 5 video clips released in Canuck Country (one for each album), but "All Touch" is the only one I've seen. There's a commercial VHS tape out there that has "Territorial" and "Crimes of Passion."

The Rough Trade LP's were released on CD in Canada a few years back. I know this for fact because I picked them up in Montreal at the HMV store there, along with the Rational Youth, Chalk Circle CD's, etc...maybe they were canadian only releases.

Right. None of their studio albums have been released on CD in the U.S. The last 3 haven't been released in the U.S. on any format.
