YES, the Q Morning Zoo. How about this......that stupid bird call they made people humiliate themselves with when calling in to win money, prizes, etc.

6400-

Yes that is what I was referring to...Stark Club out of Dallas in the old Brewery in the West End.

DJ Lestat-

Some other clubs back in the day for me in Dallas was Monopolies, Confetti, The Basement (Greenville and Lovers Lane), 2826 (Deep Ellum), Club Clearview (Deep Ellum), Sparks, but there was another one that was open to 18 and older that I can't remember that was located off of Greenville near Lovers

Wow the Stark club. The only club I've been to that I saw a guy with his own bodyguards. I also saw a 80-90 year old dude leaving all screwed up with 2 fine looking babes on each arm. That place had some money inside.

TO HOUSTON PEEPS

ok this is a stretch..i went to high school with a guy who's brother was a dj somewhere (i was a sophmore) and he would sell his brothers mix tapes. They were popular i know for a fact at 4 high schools. Their last name was Martinez and they were sold as Martinez mixes.
Anyone remember these??

The brothers or the tapes[:p]

I knew 2 brothers that went to Langam Creek that were into mixing but for the life I me, I can't remember their names. And I also knew one guy that was a dj whose name was victor martinez, he was a few years older than me. He wasn't from that area though.

xcess-n-htown a.k.a. John, that's a trip dude. Small world. Hey, the offer is the same for you. Any time you want to meet and have some coffee, a smoke, or something, shoot me an email. Did you say in an earlier post that you don't have any of your old vinyl any more? You could go through all of mine and it would take days. I'm fixin to do some more vinyl converting, and upload as much as I can this week-end. Just so damn busy. Ya know ? Kids, work, work around the house, etc.[xx(] That's me after a long day.
