I had no choice but to bring my 'puter in for a total wipe. Thankfully every tune was already burned over to disc, but every track listing to the majority of the cd's is lost forever. I have hundreds of the damn things, and very few clues of which artist and which song title is on each cd-r. I want to F-N die.

Don't panic... that sort of stuff happens.... in the given time, you'll recover the info.
I hate computers... really do... but have no option but to rely on them.

Man that sucks.

I had the same thing happen a while back. Thankfully most of my stuff was also on my iPod. Through third party software (Podworks) I was able to upload most of my music library back to my computer.

Apple wants you to believe that the iPod is a one way only device but it aint neccesarily so.

You don't even need third party software, it's real easy to do and I'm happy ot help or post how to do it!

Hutter, go buy a hard drive from Blir's site for $99 and hop on the hub or e-mail me and we can get it filled!
