Anyone know anything about him? I remember a song "Seventh Confession" of his that I liked but dont know much else about him.

I have his 1994 release <I>Skin[/i]. At least one of the songs from it, "Regular Daydreams", got a bit of airplay. I would describe it as melodic singer/songwriter folk-influenced rock. It's a pretty good album overall.

In my opinion, Himmelman's best work was with his band SUSSMAN LAWRENCE. Their first album, "Hail To The MOdern Hero" was an OK stab at new wave, but their 2nd album, "Pop City" (originally released as a 2 lP set) was amazing. Kind of like Squeeze and R

Actually, Sussman Lawrence and Himmelman's solo work are quite different. If I had to choose, hands down it would be his solo work. While his earlier solo material is not quite as strong, his 1991 CD 'From Strength To Strength' is just great, IMO his very
