That was a match where I rooted for those whom I hate the least. Go, ITALIA![}:)]

<br>Beautiful!

Italy 2
Germany 0

Forza Auzzuri!!!!!
In the last, what, 2 minutes of overtime or something like that? It was crazy to watch!
Well, that's what they usually do... to win the match in the last minute (and sometimes thanks to a penalty or foul that wasn't). I wanted Germany to win since they've been playing nice football throughout the competition, but this time the Italian victory doesn't hurt a lot because the azzurri really fought to win and even played with more than one forward (incredible!!) [:)]

And now that Germany's out [:(], between my two neighbours I will choose Portugal, because they've never won the World Cup, so... GO PORTUGAL!!

And, Blir and the other members from the US, don't be sad, the basketball World Cup starts on 19th August and I'm sure your team will do far better than in football (or soccer as you call it there), though Argentina, France, Germany and Spain will be there to make things hard for you [}:)][:D]

We (the U.S.) cannot even win our own Hot Dog eating contest! That's been dominated by a Japanese guy for (I think) 6 years running!

I don't know much about soccer, but I'm assuming it's some sort of honor for Ronaldo to be giving Jimmy Sommerville head during a match.

Jimmy Sommerville LOL!!

Actually, tiger, you could be in a heap of trouble because Wayne Rooney, although he looks like he is 50, started playing for Manchester United when he was 16 so depending on when this picture was taken....[;)][:D]

And the irony, Christiano Ronaldo quite possibly got Rooney kicked out of the Quarterfinal match Portugal Vs. England after Rooney cleated a Portugal player in the groin....not that anyone cares about all this nonsense!

Great head shot by Zidane, he was ears deep into the guy's chest.
