I just can't get into soccer. It's the only sport I can think of that when one team scores twice, there is often a 1-1 tie.
All that running around just to end up scoring against yourself. And this is not an anomally, it happens routinely!
Can you imagine Michael Jordan scoring 30 points for his team and accidentally scoring 30 for the opposing team- why would I want to watch that?
However gifted these futbol athletes are, more than any other sport it basically comes down to dumb luck. I prefer bingo.

Update on the story. Now the french welcome him as a hero and say they really won because (get this) the italian guy made fun of him. So its the italians fault! I really cant stand the french. Ok, you fucked up, fess up and deal. Not the french. And the whole country will back him up. It would have been funnier if the italian blocked him and punched him in the face. Thats NY style frenchie!
