Here's a cool little jem from the UK. Great female vocal from my collection. Enjoy!

Holy Crapola! I heard this song once many, many years ago in a club - loved it - never knew what it was called or who did it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Heh heh, nice comment ... being invincible ... although not entirely on the mark. It's an emotional immunity, not a physical one.

Yeah, but it's not about any kind of invincibility. It's about not caring when the world goes to all to hell. "Invincible" connotates immunity against physical damage.

Oh well, at least we can agree that it's a great track.

'Invincible' is entirely correct in describing how 'I' feel when I hear this song.

Here's the dictionary's definition of in·vin·ci·ble:
adj: Incapable of being overcome or defeated; unconquerable; subdued; "an invincible army"; <B>"his invincible spirit".

Nothing there about that word being restriced to things physical.
Enjoy the song however you interpret it and thanks for your point of view.

Yours is neither more correct or better than mine though.

Sorry to interrupt the English lesson. Just like to mention that this song is available on the Laughter, Tears and Rage - The Anthology 3CD box set, which is an absolute must [8D]
