How about it ? Which do you prefer, the moody, somewhat gothy stylings of Echo and his B-Men? Or do you lean toward the moody, gothy stylings of the Furs ? Worthy comparison, I'd say.
I'm a big fan of both, but I prefer the Furs. I have their 1st 4 albums--up to & including Mirror Moves--and they are brilliant. My fave is Forever Now. This is definately on my Top 10 album list of ALL TIME. Love My Way, President Gas, Danger...oh my goodness, it just doesn't get much better than this. I love those dense guitars, the swirling synths, and Richard Butler's gravelly voice.....or how about early Furs, with dark and ascerbic songs such as "Into You Like a Train", "I Wanna Sleep With You", "India", "Susan's Strange"...mmmm...I love me some Furs...
