I'm new here so please forgive the newbie question:

How does this archive work? Are these albums available to the forum members via download? I read that cd's are made with color artwork etc. Do we purchase these cd's if interested?

I'm not familiar with most of the bands on the list and would like to be able to preview them if possible. I've always been way behind on whole the downloading/mp3 generation and don't mind paying for my music.

Grew up with this group. This one was... OK. Not the best track on "Persistent Memories" (or "Persistant Memories" as the label says), but better than "Night Architecture." Now, what did I do with that Wunderkind 45...

I wish I could help 655321, but I don't even know the answer!

655321, I've always kind of wondered the same thing myself. It's not entirely clear. Does Mike P and Spaz sell these vinyl CD rips? Maybe one of the moderators could fill us in. [?]

Here is a fantastic song by November Group - Put your back to it (1982). I believe it's off of the same 'Persistent Memories' EP that MikeP took the SOW.

VERY cool track. So the remix is on Work That Dream and the original is on Put Your Back To It?

Well I think that the one I posted is on the original from 82-83 EP and then they have a re-recording of it on their A&M 1985 album which is a shorter version.

I speak from experience that MikeP does not sell vinyl CD rips - they reach you through the process of osmosis. [xx(]
