Another member posted a junky 56k copy a couple weeks ago. And here it is.

If you want to wait, I'll try to rip a better copy (along with "Ladies' Man") later this summer.

Anybody want to sing along?

MY EX
(Pine/Slade)

If you and I had never met
You and I would have less to forget
Things went wrong, you recollect
Now you think we just might reconnect

When I think of you, I think of sex
When I think it through, I'm glad you're my ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex

We split up and traded threats
Time went on, we both had our regrets
You told me you're sort of set
But when you called, I knew you were all wet

When I think of you, I think of sex
When I think it through, I'm glad you're my ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex

My ex, my ex
My ex, my, my ex
My ex, my ex, my ex
My ex, my, my ex
My ex, my ex

You gave me a big complex
But when we talk, I have that old reflex
So if you're out of town, just call collect
And if I'm out of bounds, please just dial direct

When I think of you, I think of sex
When I think it through, I'm glad you're my ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex

My ex, my ex
My ex, my, my ex
My ex, my ex, my ex
My ex, my, my ex
My ex, my ex, my ex, my ex

There's a sex train leaving this evening, but you're not gonna be on it!

OK, so, like, where do I hook up the turntable again? And am I the only person in the world who is having this much trouble trying to do this? In light of the recent mp3 brouhaha here, I'm thinkin' maybe I should take my ball and...

I've also got their 1982 EP with Martini Time on it. This was one fine group in their day.

You're welcome.

"Let's drink a toast to the thing we love most
Uh huh, martini time
Raise up your glass to the thing that won't last
Uh huh, martini time
So bottoms up, can't get enough
Uh huh, martini time
Don't say we're done, we've only just begun
Uh huh, martini time"

Is that how it goes? I never could figure out all the lyrics to the verses, and of course the EP had no lyric innersleeve. Such a shame that they splintered after just 3 years. If ever there was a case of the whole being more than the sum of its parts, that was it. Although I guess Sean Slade and Paul Kolderie do alright for themselves...
