I assure you these requests are rare!

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

I assure you these requests are rare!

My semi-annual plea for a few things a) not on CD, b) imposssible to find through the usual file sharing apparati. So:

1. SPK, "Seduction" from the U.S. Machine Age Voodoo. N.B.: often the SPK song "Thin Ice" appears on p2p as "Seduction." Beware!

2. Swinging Pistons, "(Ever Since I was Young) I Love the Sound of Machines." I have this 12" single, which I would happily lend to someone who can burn this wonderful track...

3. Brian Brain, Time Flies When You're Having Toast, in particular the song "Watching TV (With My Baby Next to Me)". The whole album is great; sadly I have it only on a crappy cassette.

4. Bel-Fires, "What You Wanted". A lovely song I haven't heard in 15 or so years.

Thank you in advance for your consideration, and I'm happy to reciprocate if I can.
