I picked up this month's Q, dedicated to the Eighties. The magazine is shit, but there is a great cover of "Lets' Dance" by The Futureheads. Here is the song list:

That sounds great Beats. I love it when the Next Wave pays homage to (just heard it being called for the first time the other day as) the First Wave. I'll go to my local Barnes & Nobles today.

The Futureheads also do a great cover of Kate Bushs "Hounds of Love"
I also discovered a few cd's on itunes dedicated only to covers.Check out
"New wave goes to hell",and "When Pigs Fly"the strangest has to be Don Ho doing " shock the monkey"

And PLEASE don't forget to check out Grant Lee Phillips' "Nineteeneighties". It's also available on itunes. Great, great stuff... His rendition of New Order's Age of Consent is terrific.

Also check out "New Wave Undercover" a two CD set released through A Different Drum (label) which features current synth-pop and electro bands covering new wave classics. Then there's always Nouvelle Vague for some cool lounge takes on new wave. Rock!
