Hello all

This place is great. Nice to see others so interested in new wave music.

I was working at a record store in the late 70's when punk rock first made it's big splash. The hip radio station at the time here in L.A. was KSPC (K-Space) from the Claremont Colleges. Soon after them I found KROQ. The L.A. music scene was cool in the late 70's-early 80's. My musical advancement stagnated in the early 90's and much like my mother who was stuck musically in the 50's I became stuck for the most part in the 80's. Through the 80's I collected a massive collection of music. After reading some of the posts it appears it might not be as massive as I thought. Anyway, looking forward to some good conversations and info here.

Atencio, welcome to the board and I hope you'll enjoy your stay. [:)]

To continue Kimiii's anology, I'm deep in the jungle wondering whether or not it's worth getting out again, like our Birman cat in a box.
