Comsat Angels and Secession

I am not familiar with either of these bands, but they seem to have a strong fan base. Can anyone upload a few of their favorites from these bands so I can add to my library. Sounds like I definitely missed out!

Thanks!

Both fine bands. The Comsat's first three albums have been re-released recently with their radio sessions cd and are well worth getting if you like intense post-punk. The two, much more commercial, albums that followed certainly had their moments too. For me in particular "Land" which I always thought was underrated.

Here's "Island Heart" from said album, out of print again unfortunately.

Comsat Angels - Land LP was the first taste for me, and to this day, it is my favorite, though I immensely enjoy all their releases. There is not a bad one, or IMO, even a just average one in the bunch. These guys just had a sound I couldn't resist. Seems I cannot think of them without always thinking of The Sound as well.

I hope you continue your pursuit of their music, you will not be disappointed.

Nice to hear of someone else who is a fan of Land. Thanks Grunch.

So... here's Secession and the 12" version of The Magician. A big fave of this board and rightly too.
