I think Dilana did awesome last night.
I also think Lukas did good too.
There really isn't too many people there that are great singers.
Does anyone think they will pick a girl?

I thought Marty Casey was best this week.[:o)]

Seriously--this years batch are not as good as last years although Dilana is intriguing. I can see Tommy picking her even though I originally thought they would go with a guy-just because. She is the only one continuosly original.

Back to Marty--I really liked his tune Trees. Was it ever released?

Lucas will win. He's the only one that fits in with the 3 dudes. Won't be a girl unless Tommy bangs her first.

Here's what I don't get. Their producer is Butch Walker. Butch Walker used to sing (quite well) in a very good band called Marvelous 3 before he became Mr. Hot Shot Producer Guy. So why doesn't he just sing for Supernova?

It would be awesome if at the end of the season when they're supposed to pick between the final two if Tommy just stood up and said "Sorry. You all sucked. We've decided Butch is gonna sing." [:D]

What did everyone think of this weeks show?
I really loved Dilana's rendition of "Time After Time".
I have to say, I think most of the people suck.
The band however, rocks!

I thought this week's show was better than it has been. This was the first week I didn't hate Dilana and Storm and I'm really starting to enjoy Lukas' performances. Those 3 along with Toby probably have the best chance of winning. Magni will probably be around for awhile too.

I can't believe they booted Phil instead of Zayra. Not that Phil was that great, but Zayra is horrendous.

What is up with Zayra & why are they keeping her? Does she make good TV? Does someone think she's sexy? She's consistently off-key - more so than the rest of them & she just plain sucks. I predict that next week will be her week to go, followed by Josh, Patrice, Dana and Jill.

Personally, I'm happy that Phil is gone - I really didn't like him. He along with Ryan, Josh & Lukas are my least favorites. Most of the girls just blend into one another except for Dilana & Storm. I also want to like Toby, but his voice isn't that great.

Josh irritates me in that he smiles through every song. Hardly any of these are happy love songs.

My prediction for final 4 - Lukas, Dilana, Storm, and Toby, with Dilana and Lukas being the final two and Dilana taking it all.

I'm finding it harder and harder to be interested in the show. No one really does anything for me. I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it'd be Lukas.

If Zayra doesn't get booted off next week, I don't know if I can ever watch it again. I can only take so much!

What's wrong with the people who make casting selections? This year's crop of contestants pales in comparison to last year's. Not that JD was any great shakes, but others like Jordis were far superior singers to this year's.

So, what did everyone think of last nights show?
I did get a kick out of watching Tommy Lee on the drums. No matter what you think of him, he gives you a show when he plays. His facial expressions alone are worth watching.

Let's see ... Lukas, Jill, and Zayra were horrible. Ryan (Losing My Religion) was the best followed by Dilana and Magni. Josh was pretty good too. Everyone else was merely competent. I really hope Zayra finally gets thrown off tonight.

From the WTF department:

What's with all of the Nirvana and Coldplay covers? I really don't see Supernova ever covering or wanting to sound like either band.

If there was a drinking game where you had to drink every time somebody said "awesome" or "amazing" you'd get pretty fucked up in a hurry.

I find it really disconcerting that Gilby and Tommy frequently refer to smoking hot women as "Man".
