This Canadian band released some fine records in the 80s and early 90s. My personla favorite is their 1987 release 'Big Blue Sky' and this track is from that release. I think this may be the heardest of their releases to still get on CD, but maybe not too too hard.

A band that I was really forced to re-evaluate.
At the time I wrote them off as an insipid bubblegum band made for video, mostly on the basis of the "Teenland" single which was on heavy rotation on MuchMusic in 1987. I did give them some credit for the novelty single/video "She Ain't Pretty" but that was it.
Later in the mid nineties I heard this live version of "Teenland":

from their OOP "Gig" CD (1993). Quite a live re-working! It inspired me enough to give them a second chance and I was forced to admit that there was a lot more to them (as performers & song writers) than I had heard first time around.

I'm holding a copy of Big Blue Sky in my hands right now. I love this site because no obscure band seems to get overlooked. WFNX
in Boston played "Things We Do For Money" for about two months that year and I went right out and bought the CD. I always had a great fondness for it even though nobody I know but me has ever heard of it. Way to give it a little belated publicity. Nice catch.
