Oh, I'll bet you did.

Sorry that I'm late in my greetings, Cookiepuss. Happy birthday, and many more delicious ones to come.

Just follow the trail of littered clothing and the slick of spilled Wesson Oil. "Spin the spinner and call the shot. Twister ties you up in a knot!"

I saved a lampshade just for you, MAS. I even hot glued some fringe all around it, you know, because I'm so crafty. Tip--don't use hot glue to apply pasties. Ouch.

With my bad knees, the most I ever wear is 2 inch heels, and even that isn't that often. At least I don't wear orthopedic shoes (yet, LOL). That wouldn't make a very sexy lap dance (outside of the old folks home). Ten inch heels--I can't imagine wearing those! Even when I was younger, I would have fallen and broken my neck--I'm not terribly graceful in heels.

Edit: I actually had a pretty sedate birthday--no lap dances, no latex, no pasties, no Twister, no Wesson Oil (sorry to disappoint [:D] ), but it DID involve the Moose Club, fried fish, and lots of old people. I went there with my family and danced all night with my father--the waltz and fox trot--a very sweet dad and daughter moment.

Girl, you need to treat yourself to some stompin' Doc Martens, then! [:D]

I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday. Plus I love fried fish. Sometimes it's better than cake. Well, maybe that's just me.

ps I know, I still owe you a cd mix. [B)][:0][:I]

Doc Martens? I'm not sure I can pull off that whole look, especially at my age. But if it ever gets to the choice between Docs and orthopedic shoes, I'll definitely take the Docs! I don't EVER want to look like Flo from Alice. (kiss my grits... [cringe]) I don't think I'd look good in a beehive hairdo... [:o)]

Don't sweat the CD. I've never thought the CD exchange was strictly reciprocal. If it were, I'd be indebted for all eternity to Marv, Randy, Medication, and Blir! I'm still jammin' to your first two mixes. (They're brilliant!)

As someone who has worn nothing but Docs for years, I have to chime in here. DON"T BUY DOCS!!! They stopped making them in England a couple of years ago and are now manufacturing them in China. The quality absolutely sucks ass. Where it used to be possible to wear your Docs every day and get years of use out of them, now you'll be lucky to get 6 months. [:(][:(!][V]
