For whatever reason I never could get into early Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams, Sexcrime, Here Comes the Rain, whatever. But now I really cherish her later work both solo and the recent Eurythmics Peace album. Her cover songs in the 90s like Whiter Shade of Pale and Don't Let it Bring You Down were awesome. Peace's I Saved the World Today, Beautiful Child and others are captivating. Anyone else feel the same? Different? Indifferent?

I love Annie more and more. I think she's one of those artists that just get better with age. A true artist, so expressive, so sensitive, so dynamic and so powerful. I look forward to her future work. Just hope we won't have to wait another ten years.....

I can't bad-mouth her solo output as I never really give it a chance...but based on what I've heard on the radio etc I'm going to go with her 80's output.

I like her work with Eurythmics a great deal, but also find her solo material to be excellent, especially her most recent release 'Bare'. She has a powerful voice, yet delivers it with such emotion and she is careful in song selection.

Love is a Stranger is the best Eurythmics song. Her solo work is good though.

Ha! "Love is a Stranger" is also MY favorite Eurythmics song as well. But I am also a big fan of all the early Eurythmics work. They were indeed one of the biggest New Wave acts of the day. I thought they were brilliant. The soundtrack to "1984" is still,

I love the first 3 Eurythmics albums, before they turned into a guitar-rock band. After "Touch" they lost me and I didn't really pay too much attention to them.

I always thought Angel was a magnificent piece. I have a great BBC radio concert of Ms. Annie that I'll burn for anyone if they want. It has classic material and material off her latest album.
