Every time "Just Got Lucky" by the JoBoxers first comes on I think it might be "Bedsitter" by Soft Cell - the intro is nearly identical.

The instrumental break in OMD's "If You Leave" is awfully close to the one in "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

REM ripped themselves off with "Bang and Blame." You can sing the lyrics of "Losing My Religion" over the music to "B&B".

Here are some songs that, in my opinion, sound so similar at the very beginning, so much so that when they were played on the radio, I had no idea which was which until after their intros:
"Whip It" by Devo and "Gimme Some Slack" by the Cars
"Rush Rush"

Also, the Damned's "Jet Boy Jet Girl" is a complete steal from Plastic Bertrand's "Ca Plane Pour Moi".

Actually Exrat is right. Plastic did it first in '77 then Jet Boy Jet Girl came then Elton Motello's cover much later (Elton's band used to do backup for Plastic). I had it wrong awhile ago too - the histories out there are pretty screwy on this one but t

There are two songs called "Send Me An Angel." One by Real Life and the other by The Scorpions. Both don't have to do with each other, but, strangely enough, both singers sometimes sound similar [:)]

Whenever I hear the guitar intro to the Lemonheads' "Into Your Arms" I expect Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Hey Tonight" to follow.

John Foxx's solo song "Touch and Go" and Ultravox's (with Midge Ure) song "Mr. X" are very similar musically, though all parties involved claim they had no connection. Yeah, right. [;)]
