DSR, thank you very much. I saw it and printed it out. Yes, my mentor programmed that; it has his "fingerprints" all over it such as Friends Again's "Old Flame," one of his biggest favorites. Only in the Philippines could you have three commercial FM stations all playing the Lotus Eaters, Care, and Fra Lippo Lippi in regular rotation at the same time! I had no idea they were playing the Expression's "Total Eclipse" -- that's really amazing. I'll e-mail you in length later. Your package is shipping to you this week.

Thanks also MIKE![8D] Yup 99.5RT was the first who introduced THE EXPRESSIONS here in Manila.[:D] Actually, the DJs didn't mentioned the artist who sang Total Eclipse so it took me up to 1995 to know who they were. There was no INTERNET back then so the scarcity of materials were very imminent. Good format right? With inclusions of THE ZOMBIES,BOB MARLEY, VELVET UNDERGROUND. I just wished it would have lasted at least a year. Keep in touch man![:D]

DSR, did you hear the new station ID that Expression lead singer Tom Haran recorded for XB-102?

Yeah, that was an incredible format. It has GMA's tastes all over it. He said that not many people realized the Zombies were old because they fit right in with the Lotus Eaters. I left Manila too early. Radio here in Washington State was garbage in 1989. All we had was KGRG broadcasting in mono for New Wave and, other than the Close Lobsters, the Wild Swans, and Eat, KGRG wasn't that great.

YUP we brought back THE EXPRESSION back on LITEWAVE wayback 2002![8D] It has been 3 years since I last visited LITEWAVE. The last time I shared my materials in LITEWAVE was way back 2003.[;)] LITEWAVE just celebrated Its 7th year anniversary this month. It is actually the only NEW WAVE radio show right now here in MANILA. As RON SOUTH would say "THIS IS LITEWAVE, YOUR ULTIMATE NEW WAVE ARCHIVE".[:D][:D]

There's another coming but I can't say a word yet [:)] I think Ron South is hosting it again, right? Hilary is with us on XB right now. There's a ton of New Wave radio shows here in the U.S. but they're mostly crap, the usual menu of Erasure-Cyndi Lauper-Bangles mixed in with MTV one-hit wonders and the same burned-out songs from the Cure, Depeche Mode, and the Clash. You'll never hear Rumblefish's "Mexico," April Showers' "Abandon Ship," and Rupert Everett's "Generation of Loneliness," the really cool stuff that they play over there. KNDD in Seattle finally played the Bolshoi's "A Way" for the first time in 15 years a few months back and they called it "the long-lost song." LOL!!! You can hear that during regular programming on K-Lite over there, and they're not even a true alt rock station...

Do you remember "Frozen Heart" by FM UK? It wasn't played on XB (I don't think), but 99.5 RT spun it a lot in 1986. Great song!

YUP MIKE Great Song![8D] I also tuned in to 99.5RT once in a while during the XB-BM heydays. Remember 99.5RT was called "RHYTHM OF THE CITY" back then. They also have this cute small alien bunny looking mascot named ARTIE. I have an RT sticker back then with their mascot.[;)] My favorite RT exclusive back then was OPPOSITE ATTRACT- THE ALL SPORTS BAND.[:D]
