I honestly cannot say when was the last time I truly got a night's sleep, pre-CPAP.

Is that the mask thingy? My friend got that and I think it changed his life. He even started shedding some extra pounds and started looking good!

I have a "special pillow" from my chiropractor that cradles my head in such a fashion as to allow for proper air intake. And you're right, the results of a good night's sleep are amazing. You don't realize what you're missing until you find it again.

- I'm impressed by my own blood (at the same time, I can see others bleed and that doesn't impress me)... earlier this week, I fainted after seeing some of it coming out from a scratch.
- I still watch cartoons: Squarepants SpongeBob, The fairly oddparents, Nadja.
- I really like cooking as many NWO members.
- I like poetry... love to read it and also to write it. Yes, I'm super corny. I know it.
- I take 20-30 minutes to shower. Just because the shower is my fav place in my house! I'd so live inside of it like Kramer did on an old episode of Seinfeld.
- Most of my undies have polka dots on it or Pucca/Hello Kitty patterns. And my PJ's generally have teddy bears patterns.
- I drink loads of mate (as any other argentinian would).
- I have the ability to put myself into the most uncomfortable situations and relationships possible.

My wife moved out a few months ago.
She's living with her sister in another state. She got a teaching job, so I don't think she'll be coming back anytime soon.

THERE, YA HAPPY NOW PHILLY!?!?!?

I played the flute and the piano as a kid.
I am an excellent cook, especially Italian food.
I can make an awesome frozen margarita
My husband has been bugging me to move out of state for the past 10 years.
I am a very loyal friend. (just don't screw with me)[}:)]
I used to write a lot of poetry as a kid.
I listen or watch the news through out the day and evening.
I constantly wash my hands.
I no longer can drive a car over a bridge. I don't know why because it never was a problem.
I think Marv would make a wonderful wife with his cooking and cleaning. [;)]

Yeah that's exactly what it is. The thing is fantastic. I feel better physically than I have in the last twenty years.

I, too, have sleep apnea and have been using a C-pap machine for about 3 years.

I suffer from severe depression and total lack of self confidence

I was married previously for nine years and have a daughter who is turning 16 this year (she unfortunately lives in Oregon, 1000 miles away, and our relationship is not so good no matter how hard i try). Oh, and my ex is not one of my favorite people in the world. She's got a lot of emotional problems. My current wife, Gena, is a doll, though!

I think that Asian women are the most beautiful women in the world (although I have never dated one)

I spend way too much money on music.

I was homophobic in my mid-teens cuz everyone else was. I soon realized that everyone was crazy and by the age of 18, I thought for myself. Now, I'm idiotophobic and have had many gay friends.

I don't care for blondes.

I hate arrogant and ignorant people.

I don't care for lesbian porn, no matter how hot they are.

I've never had a crush on a celebrity (although Molly Ringwald used to float my boat and I just LOVE Rachel Ray...but never a crush)

I prefer McCartney over Lennon

I never thought Pierce Brosnan made a good James Bond

Elvis Presley is my fave vocalist of all time, followed by Tim Finn, Midge Ure, Macca, Graham Gouldman, Marc Connors (the Nylons) and others (although not necessarily in that order).

Michael Palin is my fave Python...

I like '80s Italo quite a bit

At this exact moment in time, I don't own any Beatles CDs.

I really like Kajagoogoo but HATE "Too Shy"

ROTF!!! Another girlfriend of mine also told me the same thing once!

I have a small gap between my two top front teeth. I was going to get it fixed once, years ago, but gathered poll data from all who knew me at the time to get a general consensus as to whether I should or not. The response was overwhelmingly against any such dental work with polsters citing character as the number one reason I ought to leave the gap. So I left it.

And I love to drive. I could drive all day. I just can't deal with traffic. At all. Traffic makes me tense [:(!]

Wow, I had no idea so many of you guys were such good cooks and like to cook. Not me! I mean, I get by, and if we're having a party, I'll cook and prepare all kinds of things. But mostly I just scrounge and snack. I eat a lot of raw veggies and fruits, so I guess there's just less to "cook". I manage to eat healthy, believe it or not; just not into cooking.

However, I LOVE to clean. I have a ceremony: put on some great music (anything with a great beat), maybe take a few hits, put on my cleaning gloves, and I can clean for hours !

Plagiarism, that is an INSANE story. I just finished reading Cider House Rules by John Irving, in which ether figures prominently, and I was wondering if ether is even still around today?

I like rocks. Smooth pretty ones, rough old ones, rocks with fossils...egg-roger sent me a box of rocks last year and I thought that was pretty cool. (sorry to hear about your situation, egg, btw[V]).)

oof, in re-reading my post, I realize how egg-roger's gift of a box of rocks sounds like Charlie Brown getting a bag of rocks every year after trick-or-treating on Halloween.[:p] But really, it wasn't like that at all. Egg's rocks were cool.

And marv, I love to drive, too. However, I don't mind traffic and am one of those people who can remain completely calm driving in city traffic. I recently installed a stereo in my Duster so now I am even more serene ![:)]

Let's see . . . .

My favorite color is purple but I own a lot of pink, including a pink iPod and eleven pairs of pink shoes.

I had adult orthodontia (third time in braces) a couple of years ago, along with some extensive reconstruction. I wasn't Austin Powers before but it sure is nice having good teeth.

If my bra doesn't match my panties I feel "wrong" all day.

I recently got married to a younger man [:D] (2nd time for me)

I have two black cats and a license plate frame that says "My other car is a broom," but I'm not actually a witch, though I am a not-so-secret Harry Potter fan and won a prize from my yahoo HP group for one of the most accurate predictions about Book 6.

I am so glad skinny jeans are back and I just bought a pair . . . now to prepare myself for wearing them in public.

I like being 40 a lot better than being 39. I judge myself by an entirely new standard. It's not "gawd,I look old," it's "I'm really hot for 40."

My favorite fiction style is potboilers with literary ambitions and a twist. Recent favorites include "Gentlemen and Players" by Joanne Martin and "She May not Leave" by Fay Weldon.

I love mythology. I am completely fascinated by it. From Star Wars to Ancient Greek to Amerindian. I'm currently reading a compilation of American Indian myth legends.

Someone gave me a New York Lottery ticket the other day. I won $8. I have no idea how to get it.

My favorite part about going to the gym is unwinding in the steam-room afterwards, collecting my thoughts or just zoning out.

I've been working on a freelance project all weekend but I'm taking off this Thursday and Friday to go to Newport Beach, RI for an extended Labor Day holiday weekend.

This winter I'm driving up to Canada to ski for a week and a half. I simply cannot wait!

One more:

I don't like massages/backrubs at all. Although I do enjoy giving them.
